When we put the bolts and nut(with washers) from the auto tensioner back on the engine for safe keeping. We ended up leaving the 2 little washers on the engine side of the auto tensioner stud when reinstalling. Those little washers teetered the auto tensioner into an odd angle and kept pushing the belt back into a rubbing position. We reinstalled the belt and did a dozen or so turns with no issues now. Thanks for everyones help.
